1. The service
Wishing Well keeps track of the people you buy for, their dates and gift ideas, and builds wishlists with reminders for upcoming dates. It is free to use for planning your own gifts.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials, the accuracy of your information, and all activity under your account. If it is compromised, email miklbarton@gmail.com right away.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data using automated tools
- Access another user's account or data without authorization
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Upload malicious content, spam, or illegal material
- Disrupt the service's infrastructure
- Resell, white-label, or redistribute the service as your own product
4. Your data
You own everything you enter into Wishing Well — people, dates, gift ideas, and wishlists — and we claim no rights over it. Export it as JSON or delete your account and data at any time from Settings > Privacy and security.
5. Availability
The service is provided as-is and as-available, with no guarantee of uptime or uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or make changes at any time, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
6. Ending your account
By you: Delete your account anytime from Settings > Privacy and security. Your account is scheduled for deletion and you have 30 days to change your mind and cancel it in Settings. After that, your people, dates, gift ideas, wishlists, and notifications are permanently deleted.
By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for unauthorized purposes, with notice where practical.
7. Liability and warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost data or profits — arising from your use of the service. Wishing Well is free to use, so our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us.
The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that it will be error-free, secure, or always available.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms and will notify you through the app or via your account email of material changes; continued use after that means you accept the update. These Terms are governed by United States law, and disputes will be resolved in United States courts.
